The Dedication of the Daya Vihar Orphanage - Spring 2006

Daya Vihar means 'House of Compassion and Kindness'

John Chacko writes:

On 29th of April, evening at 7 o’clock we had the inauguration and dedication of the Home for the glory of the Lord. Quite many people from our Native places (from Kerala & Goa) were present at the auspicious occasion. Brother Gareth Bolton inaugurated and Dedicated the building for the glory of the Lord with a small speech and cutting a ribbon and lighting a candle and planting a sapling, a mango tree. And our friend Jonathan Dominguez from USA. Also planted a sapling, a jackfruit tree. He gave a good word of his testimony and prayed for the Lord’s blessing …………. Brother Gareth brought forth the Lord’s message to us that our God is great and nothing is impossible with Him.

“He has turned the impossibilities to difficulties and from difficulties

He has turned it to possibilities! Yes! Now it is DONE now.

Praise Ye the LORD with me! “

Gareth cuts the ribbon to declare the Orphanage officially open (even though the children have been living there for a few days!!) John Chacko speaks at the dedication

The children are all very well behaved Gareth and Malou are asked to plant a special tree
