Bible Study Booklets for the Village Missionary Movement

Each month the Village Missionary Movement prepare and print and circulate 10,000 Bible Study booklets. These exceptional booklets contain daily readings and commentaries, children's stories, songs to learn, prayer requests and testimonies, and other devotional material. This booklet plays a vital part in teaching and encouraging thousands of young people and new converts.

Santosh, one of the leaders of VMM writes, "we need a minimum of 30,000 Bible Study Booklets in Tamil . At the last big youth camp we conducted. Nearly 17,000 youths attended it. We could not still send the magazine to many of them. At present as our ministry is growing in north India we need to print booklets in Hindi also as it is the language of majority. Then we have to print in Telungu also. At present there are 40 missionaries in Andra where they speak Telungu. Similarly we have to do in Oriya and Marathi. Each language will need a minimum of 5000 booklets. In our committee planning meet we calculated that we will need Rs.2,30,000 for these future projects."

During their recent visit to India Gareth and Malou from AMEN saw the impact that these booklets are making. To produce the current 10,000 booklets each month costs more than VMM currently receive in donations. So much so that Christians are selling their homes and possessions to make it possible for the printing to continue. We at AMEN feel that God is encouraging us to support this important activity and appeal to you URGENTLY for your help.

Whereas a one off gift is valuable, a regular monthly Standing Order is even more valuable. £12 a month will print 200 devotional booklets each month and touch the lives of 200 families.

If you have a UK bank account and wish to set up a Standing Order, our standard form can be downloaded by clicking here. Please print out the form, complete it, and send it to AMEN. If you do not have an Adobe Acrobat (PDF format) Reader you can get a free download by clicking here. Please write VMM Booklets clearly on the form.

For on-line regular donations, AMEN uses the Futurepay feature of the Worldpay secure on-line banking system.

This page allows you to set up a regular donation. Should you wish to terminate the arrangement, you can do this through the Shopper Management System  or by E Mailing janet@amentrust.co.uk giving your name and the Futurepay Agreement Identification which is notified to you when you set up the regular donation in the first place.

If you wish to increase the amount you are donating, you will need to create a new agreement for the extra amount. If you wish to reduce your regular donation you will need to terminate the existing agreement and create a new one. We felt that donors would prefer this than having AMEN make adjustments on your behalf.

Thank you for your generosity.
