The
Stain was one of the early films which Caroline and Reginald made, and was the
film which Gareth Bolton saw and which God used to lead him to form AMEN. It was
made using borrowed equipment and mainly with volunteers - but it represented a
desire to show the Gospel message to the people of India.
The
story is a classic one of sin and forgiveness ...
Three
naughty children keep teasing & cheating the people around them. One day
they plan to steal eggs from a poultry whose watch man is a very strict person.
They buy some eggs & steal some & hide them under their hats. After
checking the bill & the egg box, the watch man lets them go but calls them
back saying that their hats are not properly seated. He presses one of their
hats & the broken eggs run down his face & the truth comes to light. The
children try to escape from him. So the watchman is doubly angry.
He
chases them, catches them & ties them around a tree & threatens to harm
them. But the owner of the poultry hears their cry & comes for their rescue.
He takes them to his home & when they confess their sin, he forgives them
& tells them that Jesus is always ready to forgive our sins & the
story ends with 1John 1:9.
"If
we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive
us
our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness"
